Transportation service charges (records storage)
Transportation services are shown on your invoice as a Trip Charge and as a Handling Charge.
The Trip Charge represents the base cost of making the Transportation Visit itself. Each Trip Charge shown on your invoice will note the service level requested. For example, “Trip Charge-Rush”.
Trip Charges may include additional applicable charges based on your distance from an Iron Mountain facility or your presence in certain metropolitan areas. The tables below contain distance-based zone bands and a list of metropolitan areas. While a Trip Charge may include either of these charges, no service location will be assessed both a distance zone charge and a metropolitan area charge for the Transportation Visit.
Zone bands are based on distance from an Iron Mountain facility and are outlined in the following table:

Distance and metro-zone transportation charges (shred)
Transportation Visits may include applicable charges based on your distance from an Iron Mountain facility or your presence in certain metropolitan areas.
The tables below contain distance-based zone bands and a list of metropolitan areas. While a Trip Charge may include either of these charges, no service location will be assessed both a distance zone charge and a metropolitan area charge for the same Transportation Visit.
